Teachers of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted (Nghe An) received the Labor Medal and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.
On the afternoon of May 30, in Vinh City, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted held a closing ceremony for the 2023-2024 school year, awarded the Third-class Labor Medal from the President and presented Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to two teachers currently teaching at the school.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training; representatives of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board; representatives of the Nghe An Association for Promoting Education.

Delivering a speech at the closing ceremony, Ms. Cao Thi Lan Thanh - Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted emphasized: In the 2023 - 2024 school year, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has achieved many achievements in teaching and learning. In particular, at the provincial excellent student competition, the school ranked first in the province with 54 first prizes, 224 second prizes, 70 third prizes and 34 consolation prizes.
In the National Excellent Student Competition, the school won 90 prizes, including 8 First prizes, 39 Second prizes, 32 Third prizes, and 11 Encouragement prizes. Ranked among the top in the country in terms of the number of prizes won. 14 students in the second round were selected for the team to compete in the International Olympic competition.
Notably, The Quan, class 11A3, was selected to the team to compete in the Asian Physics Olympiad - International held in June 2024 in Malaysia; Nguyen Ngo Duc, class 11A4, won the Silver Medal at the Mendeleev International Chemistry Olympiad; Le Xuan Anh Quan, class 12A4, won the Bronze Medal at the Mendeleev International Chemistry Olympiad; Phan Quang Triet, class 11A3, competed in the European Physics Olympiad; Nguyen Da Thao and Tran Thai Khang, class 11A5, competed in the Avicenna International Biology Olympiad in Uzbekistan.
In addition, many teachers actively innovate teaching methods and forms. Chemistry - Biology - Technology subjects have many attractive STEM lessons. The teaching model through experience, in the form of clubs, continues to prove its appeal and effectiveness. Foreign language clubs with their diversity, savings and quality have had a strong influence.
Enhanced education programs: Information Technology and English have both recorded proud results. More than 90% of students received international Office Information Technology Certificates, and Ielts scores exceeded standards.

At the closing ceremony, teacher Le Thi Lan - Teacher of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal for her outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2018-2019 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

Teacher Phung Ngoc Thanh - Teacher of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in training and nurturing students to win international prizes, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.


On this occasion, the Minister of Education and Training also decided to award certificates of merit to students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted who achieved National Excellent Students in the 2023-2024 school year.
