Introducing more than 100 documents at the thematic exhibition 'Red Nghe Tinh in the hearts of people'
(Baonghean.vn) - The exhibition aims to help people of all walks of life, especially today's young generation, better understand President Ho Chi Minh's feelings and concern for the Nghe Tinh Soviet.
In celebration of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; 93rd anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2023), on the afternoon of September 8, Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Red Nghe Tinh in the hearts of the people" and met and exchanged with relatives of Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers.
Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition, on behalf of Ha Tinh province, there were comrades: Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of the leaders of the Political Department of Military Region 4, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and a number of departments, agencies and branches.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports affirmed: President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, national liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, wherever he was, in whatever position, he always had sacred affection and deep concern for his homeland Nghe An, especially the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement (1930 - 1931).

When the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement broke out, although leader Nguyen Ai Quoc was operating abroad, he still closely followed each struggle to work with the Party Central Committee to shape and direct the movement as well as encourage the people's fighting spirit.
When the movement was persecuted, he continuously reported and sent letters requesting the Communist International to pay more attention to the Vietnamese revolution, and at the same time, called for the support of progressive people around the world for the people of Nghe Tinh. He affirmed:“Bombs, machine guns, burning houses, military posts..., government propaganda, press... were all powerless to extinguish the revolutionary movement of Nghe - Tinh... Nghe Tinh truly deserves the title of Red!”.
As President, he always had respect and affection for the Nghe Tinh Soviet. During his visit to his homeland, he laid a wreath in memory of the soldiers who heroically sacrificed their lives in the demonstration on September 12, 1930; met and took souvenir photos with the Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers.
In 1964, he signed the Preface to present to the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum and instructed:“Cadres, party members, union members, youth and all Nghe Tinh people need to unite closely and enthusiastically compete to build Nghe An - Ha Tinh into two exemplary provinces, worthy of being the homeland of the heroic Nghe Tinh Soviet”.

In order to help people of all walks of life, especially today's young generation, better understand President Ho Chi Minh's feelings and care for the Nghe Tinh Soviet, the Department of Culture and Sports directed the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum to organize the thematic exhibition "Red Nghe Tinh in His Heart".

With nearly 100 visual documents, many of which are valuable documents exploited from the National Archives of the Russian Federation, France, England..., the exhibition will give the public a deeper insight into the feelings, interests and concerns of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc for the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement; at the same time, provide researchers with new documents related to President Ho Chi Minh and the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement.

On this occasion, the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum organized a meeting and exchange with relatives of Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers.
