Help a baby with congenital corneal opacity in Nam Dan

The birth of baby Hoang Nghia Minh Phuc brought joy to the family of Nguyen Thi Le Thu and Hoang Quoc An in Quang Trung block, Nam Dan town. However, sadness quickly came when the whole family saw the cloudy eyes on the baby's face. And the mother was stunned when she heard that her son had congenital corneal opacity with no treatment, after a visit to Hanoi.

Thu and her husband tried their best to take their son to seek treatment everywhere and hoped for a miracle. The money Thu and her husband saved was not enough to help their son find the light. When they ran out of money, they took their son home with tears in their eyes.

One time, Mr. Hoang Quoc An read through books and websites and learned that FV Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City was cooperating with Singaporean professors specializing in eye treatment. The whole family burst into tears when Nghia Phuc's medical records were received. The doctor said that the child had a chance to be treated but had to be transferred to Singapore as soon as possible to eliminate other eye-related diseases.

The family was happy because there was a ray of hope, but they were worried because the cost to take the baby to Singapore for treatment was over 1 billion VND.

In order to share the family's situation, the Faith Volunteer Group visited, encouraged and gave them 20 million VND.

This is a meaningful charity activity that demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love", giving strength and confidence to families in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu is an interpreter working at the memorial site of patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau (Nam Dan district), Mr. Hoang Quoc An is an IT staff at the Nam Dan District Medical Center. Recently, knowing that their son was in a dangerous situation, relatives, colleagues, some kind-hearted individuals and organizations, the Heritage Management Department, the Relic Management Board (Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the alumni association of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted... have shared, encouraged and supported the family. However, the amount of money needed to restore the sight of Hoang Minh Nghia Phuc is too large. Therefore, Hoang Minh Nghia Phuc still needs the sharing and help of the community.
