Two students in Nghe An were fined for carrying guns to shoot birds.

At 2:45 p.m. on April 13, during an inspection, the Dien Chau District Police working group discovered two subjects, Pham Duc T. and Nguyen Van Tr. (born in 1999, both residing in Hamlet 2, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District, both students who had returned to their hometowns) holding air guns to shoot birds, despite the fact that it was a time of social isolation.

At the time of discovery, in addition to an air gun, the two young men were also carrying 50 lead bullets.

Major Nguyen Huu Thinh - Dien Chau Police, said: The working group has completed the documents and advised the Chairman of Dien Yen Commune People's Committee to issue a decision to impose administrative penalties on the above two cases.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dien Yen commune has decided to fine Pham Duc T. 200,000 VND for going out unnecessarily. As for Nguyen Van Tr., he was administratively fined 3.5 million VND for going out unnecessarily and using weapons and support tools without a license.

Along with the fine, the authorities confiscated the gun and ammunition mentioned above.
