Tens of thousands of tourists come to Con Cuong during 3-day holiday

The weather is beautiful, the scenery is attractive, so although it is being affected by the Covid epidemic, according to statistics from the People's Committee of Con Cuong district, in the first 3 days of the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, tourist attractions in the mountainous district of Con Cuong attracted many visitors. It is estimated that more than 10,000 tourists, mainly domestic tourists, came to Con Cuong.

Famous tourist attractions such as Kem waterfall, Moc stream, Pha Lai dam... have crowded parking lots due to the large number of visitors coming to visit and relax. At Khe Kem waterfall alone, there were more than 4,000 visitors in just 3 days of the holiday.

However, it is estimated that the number of visitors has decreased by about 30 - 40% compared to the same holiday last year, which means tourism revenue has also decreased.

To ensure the prevention of Covid-19 at tourist attractions, Con Cuong district directed and mobilized the police force, Youth Union, Preventive Medicine Center, and set up checkpoints to check and measure body temperature. Each group of visitors must not exceed 30 people, must wear masks and keep distance when in contact. Visiting time at tourist attractions must not be extended.
