Hundreds of citizens in the quarantine area in Con Cuong show gratitude to those who serve.
(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of citizens in quarantine areas in Con Cuong district donated funds to support the prevention and fight against Covid-19 and thanked officers, soldiers, doctors, nurses and service staff.
On the afternoon of April 10, 250 citizens at the quarantine area of Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary School (located in Con Cuong district) volunteered to raise more than 28 million VND to support the prevention and fight against Covid-19 and to show gratitude to the team of people on duty at the quarantine area.
“You have worked very hard, not minding staying up late at night or waking up early to take good care of hundreds of citizens in terms of food, daily activities, disease prevention and control, and daily health monitoring. We are very touched and want to express our sympathy and gratitude to them,” said Ms. Le Thi Lien, on behalf of the citizens quarantined here.

Ms. Lien also emphasized that no matter where you go, there is nothing like your homeland, your Fatherland. Homeland is always a peaceful place that all citizens turn to with love, gratitude, and respect. After only 2 weeks in the quarantine area, Ms. Lien and many others felt the warmth and sharing of the staff and people for those in quarantine.

It is known that the people quarantined at Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary School donated half of the 28 million 350 thousand VND to give to the officers, soldiers, nurses, doctors and volunteers serving at the quarantine area. The rest was donated to the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Relief Committee of Con Cuong district.

Previously, 209 citizens being quarantined at Pu Mat National Park quarantine area also voluntarily donated 15 million 900 thousand VND to show gratitude to officers, soldiers, doctors, nurses and volunteers serving quarantined people and supporting the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Relief Committee of Con Cuong district.
In Con Cuong district, there are currently two quarantine areas for citizens returning from abroad at Pu Mat National Park and Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary School with 459 citizens.
