(Baonghean.vn) - Huoi Co village (Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong district) is located on a high mountain, close to the Vietnam - Laos border. For a long time, people have had the habit of growing peach and plum around their houses and in their fields. When Tet comes, spring comes, peach and plum blossoms bloom all over the village, creating a beautiful and poetic landscape.

Tất cả các cây đào trên địa bàn bản đều được bà con dân tộc Mông vừa bảo tồn vừa trồng mời. Từ trước đến nay hầu hết các hộ dân đều tự ươm giống từ quả Đào trưởng thành, chăm sóc thành cây non rồi trồng trên các nương rẫy của các hộ gia đình. Selling peach branches grown in the fields during Tet brings a significant source of income to the people. In 2023, the whole village earned 300 million VND from selling peach trees during Tet, mainly selling peach branches, a few households with beautiful trees sold the whole tree (each tree from 16 - 17 million VND). Normally, peach trees can be harvested after 4-5 years of planting.
