Hundreds of people participate in Pu Mat forest fire fighting drill

According to the scenario, immediately after discovering the forest fire occurred at Lot 5B, Compartment 1, Sub-area 812C belongs to the forest area managed by Pha Lai Forest Protection Management Station. Forest rangers have notified forest owners, local authorities and people to participate in fire fighting.

Firefighters approached the fire from three directions, using manual tools: knives, fire extinguishers, and fresh branches to control the fire. After 30 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished. In addition, first aid drills were also conducted for injured and suffocated people participating in firefighting.

Through the forest fire fighting drill, functional units, forest owners, local authorities, as well as people will know and effectively implement forest fire fighting plans and tools. At the same time, raise awareness of people in the buffer zone, those who regularly enter and exit the forest, and officers directly managing and protecting the forest in forest fire prevention.
