Dien Chau District People's Council: Resolved 336 voters' petitions

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 14, Dien Chau District People's Council summarized the activities of the 18th term, 2011-2016.

During the past term, with many innovations in content and methods of operation, the People's Council of Dien Chau district has performed well its duties and powers according to the law. The People's Council of the district issued 96 Resolutions suitable to local realities, which were supported by the people.

Overview of the second meeting.

Many Resolutions have been effectively implemented, such as: building new rural areas, policies to support socio-economic development... The District People's Council conducted 183 supervisions at 62 agencies, organizations and units focusing on law enforcement, policy implementation, budget management... and received 380 opinions and recommendations from citizens, thereby coordinating to resolve 336 contents, reaching 88.4%.

Besides the achieved results, the District People's Council still has limitations such as supervision work not meeting requirements in all areas, not promptly resolving urgent issues that voters are concerned about....

Therefore, in the 2016 - 2021 term, the People's Council of Dien Chau district continues to carry out tasks, focusing on improving the quality of supervision work of the People's Council, committees and People's Council delegates, being proactive and creative in questioning and answering questions, improving the effectiveness of the People's Council's Resolutions...

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district awarded 12 collectives and 22 individuals with outstanding achievements in the People's Council activities for the 2011-2016 term.
