(Baonghean.vn) - This is the content of one of the draft resolutions that the 17th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, will consider and approve at the 15th session taking place in Vinh City from July 20 to 22.
The meeting will listen to 26 reports and announcements from the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and a number of sectors on the performance in the first 6 months of the year and tasks for the last 6 months of the year such as:
Report of the Provincial People's Committee on socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year; tasks for the last 6 months of 2020; Notice on activities of the Provincial Fatherland Front participating in government building, opinions and recommendations of local people; proposals and recommendations to the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee on necessary issues; Report of the Provincial People's Council Supervision Delegation on the results of supervising the implementation of a number of Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on mechanisms and policies for investment in socio-economic development in the province;...

The Provincial People's Council will also organize discussions in groups and halls on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year; tasks for the last 6 months of 2020 and reports, submissions, draft resolutions submitted to the Session;... Regarding personnel work under its authority, the Provincial People's Council will dismiss and elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.
In the meeting agenda, on the afternoon of July 21, the Provincial People's Council will question two issues: the management and implementation of urban land use projects and the handover and refund of initial investment costs for rural power grids. These two issues have been monitored, questioned and held an explanation session by the Provincial People's Council, on which resolutions and conclusions have been issued. However, the implementation of the resolutions and conclusions in practice is raising many issues, especially the rights of the people have not been guaranteed, so in this meeting, the Provincial People's Council will continue to question in order to thoroughly resolve the problems that are being raised.
