Ho Tuan Tai and foreign players scored, SLNA won big in friendly match with Ha Tinh

On the afternoon of February 2, Song Lam Nghe An Club and Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club continued to have a friendly match at Vinh Stadium to test the squad. Before this match, SLNA welcomed another foreign player on trial, striker Victor Mansaray, who recently played for Ho Chi Minh City Club in V.League 2019 and scored 5 goals in 9 matches.

Player Victor Mansaray used to play in the US and Swedish professional leagues and also tried out for SLNA in the 2018 season. However, last year he played for B. Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City Club and also had a trial period at Thanh Hoa Club before coming to SLNA to try out.

In this match, SLNA fielded a lineup including goalkeeper Van Hoang, defenders Dinh Dong – Sy Nam, and central defenders Van Khanh – foreign player Sasa Novakovic. SLNA midfielders included Nguyen Quang Tinh, Dang Van Lam, Cao Xuan Thang, Ho Tuan Tai and 2 foreign players.

The match took place in 3 halves, each half lasting 30 minutes. In the first half, SLNA took the initiative and scored 1 goal by midfielder Dang Van Lam from a free kick by Sy Nam.

In the second half, SLNA continued to change personnel when left-back Vo Ngoc Duc entered the field to replace Tran Dinh Dong, Van Khanh left the field to make way for The Nhat, midfielder Bui Dinh Chau entered the field to pair with Van Lam and 2 foreign strikers.

In this half, coach Ngo Quang Truong's students scored another goal, from a header by striker Peter Onedykachi - a player born in 1994 who used to play for Nigeria U23.

In the third half, SLNA still maintained their dominance in attack with the presence of striker Victor Mansaray. This player assisted Ho Tuan Tai to score 1 goal. Ho Tuan Tai's remaining goal came from a face-to-face with the goalkeeper and a decisive shot.
