Gratitude activities, 'repaying gratitude' in Nghia Dan district
(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), with the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", and showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the homeland and country, Nghia Dan district organized delegations of district leaders to visit and present gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, and typical policy families.

Nghia Dan district has 1,664 beneficiaries receiving gifts from the Central Government with the amount ranging from 300,000 VND to 600,000 VND/gift, the total amount is nearly 508 million VND. Along with that, in July, the district organized 13 delegations to visit and give gifts to 20 party members with 55 years of Party membership or more who are wounded and sick soldiers and 20 families of people with revolutionary contributions, each gift worth 2.5 million VND, with the amount of 100 million VND.
At the places visited, the district leaders kindly asked about the health and family life of the war invalids and elderly party members, expressing gratitude for the great contributions that the families of policy beneficiaries and elderly party members have made to the cause of defending the Fatherland and developing the country.

The district leaders hope that in the coming time, families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, encourage their children to actively participate in local movements; at the same time, request the local Party Committee, government and people to continue to pay attention to and take better care of the material and spiritual lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the district.
