Nghe An Provincial Red Cross SocietyCoordinated with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha to visit and give gifts to households affected by natural disasters in Hung Nguyen district.

The delegation visited and presented 400 gifts including rice, blankets, clothes, instant noodles and cash; of which, Hung Trung commune received 170 gifts, Hung Yen Bac 110 gifts and Hung Yen Nam 120 gifts.

This is a meaningful activity showing concern and sharing difficulties with people affected by the recent floods.

Do Luong District Women's UnionCoordinated with an organization in the district to hand over an automatic clean water filtration system to Thuan Son Kindergarten, Do Luong.

The clean water filtration system for the school includes 1 water storage tank and 14 multi-layer water treatment tanks to filter raw water into pure water. The project is worth 15 million VND, contributing to timely support for preschool children in difficult areas to use clean water for eating, drinking and daily activities at school.

Quy Chau Association for Promotion of EducationIn collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the launching ceremony of the 16th Month of Learning Promotion in 2019 was held at Chau Binh Secondary School and more than 13.7 million VND was donated. This amount will be used by the school to support poor but studious students, teachers in difficult circumstances, etc.

On this occasion, the Telecommunications unit awarded 39 million VND to support poor students to go to school.

Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Khanh Commune, Nghia DanOrganized a donation ceremony to support the construction of a house for Ms. Tran Thi Hien's family in Troi hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune.

Ms. Tran Thi Hien's family is near-poor, sick all year round and has 3 young children. The family has to live in a dilapidated temporary house that has seriously deteriorated. In that situation, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee supported 10 million VND from the "For the Poor" fund in 2019 to reinforce the house.

With this support money from the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the help of relatives and people in Troi hamlet, her family was able to repair their house and stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, Nghia Khanh commune presented a total of 25 million VND from the "For the Poor" fund to support the construction and repair of houses for Mrs. Phan Thi Lan's family in Tru hamlet, and Mr. Dinh Van Quy's family in Met hamlet...

Dong Yen Pagoda, An Thai Pagoda (Quynh Luu)Coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, District Women's Union, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu to organize a ceremony to hand over a solidarity house to a poor household, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vy, residing in Hamlet 2.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Vy, a poor household, in 1996, while fishing for hire at sea, her husband had an accident and died. In 2015, her only son had a traffic accident and died. Currently, she is living with her daughter-in-law and grandson in a seriously degraded house.

In that situation, in June 2019, Dong Yen Pagoda and Yen Thai Pagoda supported 30 million VND, Quynh Luu District People's Committee supported 50 million VND and the District Women's Union, Fatherland Front Committee, Son Hai Commune Women's Union and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station supported money and working days worth 40 million VND. At the same time, brothers and relatives supported Ms. Vy's family to build a new, solid house with an area of ​​40m2.² with a total value of nearly 170 million VND.

Philanthropistsawarded 25 scholarships (each worth 700,000 VND) to 10 disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies at Quang Tien Primary School, 8 students at Quang Tien Secondary School and 7 students at Hoa Hieu 2 Secondary School (Thai Hoa town). These gifts contribute to creating motivation to excel in their studies.

Yen Thanh District Farmers' Associationgave support money to buy breeding buffaloes to member Thai Van Hung in Tan Son hamlet.

The amount of 10 million is the monthly contribution of one day's salary from the staff of the Farmers' Association of Yen Thanh district from the beginning of 2019 until now. Along with that support, Mr. Hung borrowed more money to buy a breeding calf worth 25 million VND.

At the handover ceremony, the District Farmers' Association assigned the local government as well as the Commune Farmers' Association to supervise and support member families with livestock farming techniques, barn building, etc.
