Nghe An Red Cross Society gives gifts to students in flooded areas of Quy Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 4 and 5, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross organized a gift-giving ceremony for nearly 1,000 students who suffered heavy damage from floods at 5 schools in Quy Chau district.

The recent historic flood in Quy Chau district has left serious consequences. The Nghe An Red Cross has connected and mobilized individuals and organizations inside and outside the province to support the people of Quy Chau to overcome the consequences of the flood. After a short time of connecting, Miss Hanoi Vu Thu Tra My and benefactors have donated gifts worth over 110 million VND.
On the afternoon of October 4 and morning of October 5, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Quy Chau District Red Cross Society and the Board of Directors of schools in the area to directly give 10,000 notebooks to students of all levels; 2,000 pens; clothes, school bags, school supplies... to 954 students who suffered the most damage due to floods at 5 locations: Quy Chau High School, Chau Thang Primary School and Kindergarten, Chau Binh Secondary School, Ta Soi Primary School, Chau Hanh 2. On this occasion, the delegation gave nearly 1,000 late moon cake gifts to students in flood-affected areas.
