(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 1, Nghe An Red Cross Society organized a gift giving ceremony for 180 extremely disadvantaged households, poor households, and people who lost their jobs due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, in 9 wards and communes in Vinh city.
On this occasion, Nghe An Red Cross Society organized the awarding of 180 support gifts including necessities such as rice, food, vegetables, and fruits.
This is the third time the Nghe An Red Cross has organized a gift-giving campaign to support families in especially difficult circumstances, poor households, and people who lost their jobs due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in Vinh city.

Previously, Nghe An Red Cross Society gave 630 gifts to support 630 families in 25 wards and communes of Vinh city.
In addition, the association has also supported quarantine checkpoints and points in the province. The total number of gifts that the Provincial Red Cross Association has given in the past time is worth more than 300 million VND./.
