Nghe An Journalists Association convenes the 8th Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Journalists Association issued Official Dispatch No. 143 CV-HNBNA dated August 31, 2020 on convening the 8th Congress of Nghe An Journalists Association for the 2020 - 2025 term. The Congress will take place within 1 day (September 8, 2020).

Implementing Plan No. 132/KH-HNBVN dated May 24, 2019 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association and Instruction No. 177/HD-HNBVN dated July 15, 2019 of the Vietnam Journalists Association on Guiding the Organization of Congresses at all levels towards the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association, term 2020 - 2025, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Journalists Association has deployed instructions for its affiliated grassroots chapters to conduct the Congress and complete preparations for the 8th Congress of the Nghe An Journalists Association, term 2020 - 2025.

With the consent of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association allows the Nghe An Journalists Association to organize the 8th Congress (term 2020 - 2025) on September 8, 2020.

Specifically,Morning of September 8, 2020, Tuesday (from 7:00 - 11:30): First Congress (All Members);Afternoon of September 8, 2020, Tuesday (from 13:00 - 17:00): Second Congress (All Members and Guest Delegates). The Congress will take place at Giao Te Hotel - No. 09, Ho Tung Mau Street, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

The Congress convened 314 members currently active in 18 Journalists Associations, specifically as follows:

1.Nghe An Radio and Television Station Branch: 82 members

2. Nghe An Newspaper Branch: 55 members

3. Military Region 4 Newspaper Branch: 8 members

4. Nghe An Police Newspaper Branch: 23 members

5. Nghe An Labor Newspaper Branch: 7 members

6. Vietnam News Agency Branch in Nghe An: 4 members

7. Song Lam Magazine Association: 10 members(AlreadyMerge 2CAssociation: Song Lam Magazine and Culture Magazine)

8. Association of Cultural-Information-Sports Centers of Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong: 10 members

9. Association of Cultural - Information - Communication Centers of Vinh City, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo Town: 18 members

10. Association of Cultural-Information-Sports Centers of Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai Town: 19 members

11. Association of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Centers of Do Luong, Anh Son, Tan Ky: 11 members

12. Association of Cultural-Information-Sports Centers of Thai Hoa Town, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong: 9 members

13. Association of Cultural-Information-Sports Centers of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son: 14 members

14. NA Science and Technology Association: 5 members

15. Department of Information and Communications Branch - Electronic Information Portal: 7 members

16. Representative Office and Resident Correspondents Association: 20 members

17. Association of Journalists Office Branch: 5 members

18. Retired members currently active in the Association: 7 members

Members must bring their Journalist Membership Card to vote at the Congress.

Regarding dress, men are required to wear dark pants, white shirts and ties; women are required to wear traditional ao dai (if they are ethnic minorities, wear their own national costumes). Press agencies that are provided with uniforms are encouraged to wear uniforms.
