Nam Dinh Provincial Women's Union organized the activity "Accompanying women in the border areas" in Nghe An
The program "Accompanying women in the border areas" with many activities to support cadres, members and women in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district.

On May 30, the delegation of the Women's Union of Nam Dinh and Nghe An provinces organized the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" with many practical and meaningful activities in Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district.
The delegation included comrades Tran Thi Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Women's Union of Nam Dinh province; Hoang Thi Thanh Minh - Vice President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province; leaders of the Border Guard Command of Nam Dinh and Nghe An provinces.

The delegations of the two provinces spent time visiting, encouraging and giving gifts to 3 families of members and women who were supported with the livelihood model of "Raising reproductive cows" and building "Shelters of love" in 2022 and 2023; including the families of Ms. Lang Thi Chuyen, Lo Thi Sam and Lang Thi Tiep (in Ang Dua village).
Through support from contributions from cadres, members, women and officers and soldiers of the Nam Dinh Provincial Border Guard; currently, families are conscious of striving to develop the economy, increase the number of livestock and stabilize their lives.

The delegation also met and shared information, knowledge, and experience in economic activities and development, and building happy families with cadres, members, and women of Thong Thu commune.

From the contributions of cadres, members, women and officers and soldiers of the Border Guard of Nam Dinh province, the working delegation of Nam Dinh province organized to present the Women's Union of Thong Thu commune with a projector; supported livelihood models for 10 households; 1,000 new clothes for children. The total value of the activities was 85 million VND.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union and the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard also presented 10 gifts and supported a livelihood model for women members of Thong Thu commune.

The activities of the Women's Union and Border Guards of Nam Dinh and Nghe An provinces in Thong Thu commune aim to concretize the program "Accompanying women in border areas" initiated and launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Border Guard Command.
The program aims to raise awareness, qualifications and support, reduce difficulties, and arouse the will to rise of cadres, members, and women in border and island communes; at the same time, contribute to mobilizing women in border and island areas to participate in building and protecting territorial sovereignty, border and island security.
