Mr. Truong Van Hoa (owner of the facility) said: This summer-autumn crop, I officially planted melons, and the following crops will be vegetables adapted to the climate. With new technology invested, the plants are carefully and strictly cared for, without using any pesticides. To proactively sell the products, I have signed a number of contracts to supply melons such as Vinh Cuong Clean Vegetable Company (Dong Nai), a number of clean vegetable suppliers from Hai Phong, Da Nang and the Big C supermarket system nationwide with a stable price of 45,000 VND/kg. Mr. Truong Van Hoa's model of growing clean vegetables in greenhouses in hamlet 2, Hoi Son commune is implemented according to the food safety chain process.

Regarding the French pigeon farming model of Ms. Nguyen Thi Long's household in Hamlet 5, Hoi Son Commune, the scale is 500 pigeons, raised in 2 areas for meat pigeons and pigeons raised for breeding. The source of the breed was imported from Sang Tao pigeon farm (Bac Giang). This is a new breeding object, very interested by consumers. After more than 2 years of working with the model, Ms. Nguyen Thi Long's experience is the careful investment from food to disease prevention, cleaning of feeding troughs, and drinking water every day.

In particular, using a lot of mixed feed from corn and rice by-products will make the bird meat delicious, suitable for the consumer's choice trend. Currently, Ms. Long's pigeon products are imported and sold at administrative agencies, schools in the district. According to calculations, each month she sells over 50 pairs of meat pigeons and breeding pigeons at a price of 120,000 - 450,000 VND/pair. This model brings in a total income of nearly 100 million VND/year.

Although located in the agricultural belt area of ​​Anh Son town, with many advantages for economic development, in reality, people's production in Hoi Son commune is still small-scale and scattered, not creating many safe and quality products to meet consumer demand, agricultural products are not large enough and unstable.

Faced with this situation, the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Son Commune Party Committee, term 2015 - 2020 clearly stated: "Promoting industrialization and modernization of rural agriculture, shifting the economic structure of agricultural and rural production... Replicate effective economic models in the fields of crops and livestock to create more and more diverse and highly competitive agricultural products".

Mr. Nguyen Trong Le's dragon fruit growing model in hamlet 5, Hoi Son commune currently has 120 trees, bringing in additional income of over 70 million VND per year.

Talking to us, comrade Nguyen Huu Dung - Chairman of Hoi Son Commune People's Committee, said: In the spirit of the thematic Resolution No. 01-NQ/DU of the Party Committee, the Commune People's Committee issued Plan No. 02/KH-UBND on implementing new rural construction in 2016, linking investment in building models for high income. Organizing for cadres and some households to visit and study high-income production models in Tan Ky and Nghia Dan districts. Actively converting the structure of crops and livestock to bring high income value in production, renovating mixed gardens in households for effective production investment. Providing maximum support for land and land conversion for households or groups of households to invest in developing clean vegetable growing models in greenhouses...

Thanks to the timely guidance and direction of the Party Committee and the government of Hoi Son commune, after only nearly 3 years, the whole commune has formed over 20 farms and ranches specializing in producing plants and animals with high and stable economic value.

Typical examples include the 10-hectare model of producing 4 crops of corn on the land of Hamlet 2, selling corn as feed for dairy cows, generating an income of 62 million VND/ha, an increase of 15 million VND/ha compared to corn production for grain (45 million VND/ha). Then the model of growing 10 hectares of corn with additional crops on 2-rice land in Dong Truong Hamlet generates a fairly stable income; the model of growing 4 hectares of disease-free oranges in Hamlet 10; the model of growing 150 red-fleshed dragon fruit trees in Hamlet 5, the mixed livestock model in Hamlet 4... with an income of hundreds of millions of VND/year/model; contributing to creating a widespread influence among the people, increasing the land use coefficient by 5.6 times. In addition, products from the models are gradually forming a line of quality products with value on the market.

The pigeon raising model of Ms. Nguyen Thi Long in hamlet 5, Hoi Son commune is very effective.

According to the plan, by the end of 2016, Hoi Son commune will complete 19 criteria to reach the new rural finish line. The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee added that the most important thing to reach the new rural finish line is how to improve people's lives and income. In the coming time, the commune will continue to do better in advocacy and propaganda work; apply new science and technology to production; focus on mobilizing contributions from the people in combination with other legal budget support sources to create a breakthrough in the structure of plant and animal varieties, creating a strong product line for the market.
