During the past term, the Association has closely followed the directions, goals and tasks set out by the 2nd Congress; Song Dinh Literature and Arts Magazine has published 5 issues (1 issue per year) with 15,000 copies. The works published in the magazine have good ideological content and artistic values; meeting the requirements and tasks of propagating the policies and guidelines for economic, cultural and social development of the Party Committee and the government on the land and people of Yen Thanh in particular and Nghe An in general.

Many members have made breakthroughs in creativity, achieving some important results, in which, many authors have had literary and artistic works that have won high awards such as: Ngo Duc Tien, Nguyen Viet Hoa. Many young writers such as: Tien Dung, Dinh Ha, Nguyen Viet Hoa, Phan Dang Hai, Phan Xuan Hau, Duong Hien, Phan Hien... have published poetry collections and announced their works. Some members have won official awards in competitions.

In the coming term, Yen Thanh Literature and Arts Association strives to admit 2-3 new members each year. Continue to train young writers, new literary and artistic talents, and build an increasingly strong membership. Strive to win 2-3 annual Literature and Arts awards. Coordinate with the Nghe An Province Literature and Arts Association to invest in and support members to publish and announce at least 5 literary and artistic works...
