Today (June 11), the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly entered its second working session.
On the morning of June 11, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly officially entered the second working session, continuing the agenda with many important contents.
The National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province has 12 delegates led by comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attending the meeting.

According to the program, the National Assembly will discuss, comment and vote to pass a series of draft laws such as: Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended); Law on Teachers; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies...
The National Assembly will also vote to pass many important and notable resolutions such as: Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Resolution on merging provincial-level administrative units; Resolution on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, primary school students, and students of general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system...
In particular, the question and answer session, one of the highest supervisory activities of the National Assembly, will take place for 1.5 days (from June 19 to the morning of June 20, 2025). The National Assembly will select two groups of issues in areas of special interest to voters, people and National Assembly deputies, namely education and training, and finance, to conduct the question and answer session.
In the field of education and training, the content of the questions revolved around the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of university education associated with the requirement of training high-quality human resources, meeting the goals of socio-economic development. In addition, there were issues of extra teaching and learning; ensuring a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment; preventing school violence and ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools.
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son will be the one to directly answer questions. At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and leaders of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Health, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, and Public Security will participate in explaining and clarifying related issues.
In the financial field, the questioning focused on financial solutions for socio-economic development, serving socio-economic growth; restructuring growth drivers, promoting new development models; improving the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises and developing the private economy.
In addition, there are solutions to improve the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; solutions to support and promote the development of the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy; solutions to promote the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI); mechanisms and policies to promote and attract investment, and develop industrial parks and economic zones.
Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang was responsible for answering the main questions. Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Ministers of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, and Foreign Affairs also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
After the responses of the Ministers, the Prime Minister or authorized Deputy Prime Minister will speak and clarify further the contents under the Government's management authority.
Besides questioning and legislative activities, the National Assembly will also consider and decide on many other important issues on socio-economy and the State budget.
The second working session is expected to last until June 27.
Previously, in the first working session (from May 5 to May 29), with a spirit of urgency, democracy and high responsibility, the National Assembly discussed and gave initial opinions on many important contents of the session. This is the basis for agencies to absorb, revise and complete draft laws and resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval in the second session.
During this working session, the National Assembly also voted to pass eight important resolutions, creating a legal basis for implementing the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; preparing for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and at the same time deciding on many urgent issues to concretize and effectively implement the Politburo's resolutions.
