More than 1,200 volunteers participated in the blood donation festival in Quy Hop
(Baonghean.vn)- On July 11, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Quy Hop district coordinated with the Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion of Nghe An province to organize the "Voluntary Blood Donation Festival" phase 1 in 2022 with the theme "Red Drops of Nghe An".
This is an annual activity of Quy Hop district in mobilizing cadres, employees and all people to participate in donating blood to save lives. With the message "For community health", the first voluntary blood donation festival this year in Quy Hop district has attracted more than 1,200 volunteers from agencies, departments and branches located in the district.

To achieve the set plan of 1,149 blood units in 2022, Quy Hop district has promoted information and propaganda work in all agencies, units, schools, communes and towns, and at the same time assigned specific targets to units to deploy and mobilize according to the plan.

This is the 10th year that Quy Hop district has organized a blood donation festival, so people's awareness that donating blood to save lives is a noble act, does not affect health but also helps the body eliminate excess iron and produce new blood that is beneficial for health, so the blood donation festival has attracted more and more people and the blood donors are also more diverse.
