Horrific fight in hospital, one dead, three injured

On October 28, Phu Nhuan District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (PC45, Ho Chi Minh City Police) to examine the scene to investigate the fight that left 1 person dead and 3 injured.

According to initial information, at dawn the same day, a group of young people went to a fish shooting game shop on Hoang Hoa Tham Street (Ward 5, Phu Nhuan District) to play and had a conflict with the owner of the fish shooting game shop there.

The two sides rushed into a fight, the game shop owner was stabbed with a weapon by a group of customers.

Investigators are examining the scene.

The game shop owner was taken to Hoan My Hospital by his family for emergency treatment. While the doctors were busy treating the fish shooting game shop owner's injuries, the group of customers suddenly returned. The game shop owner's family and the group of customers got into a fight right inside the hospital.

Discovering two groups of people fighting, many people in the emergency room panicked and ran away. One subject rushed into the hospital bed where the game store owner was being treated and used a weapon to stab the game store owner to death.

Three people in the group who went to the hospital to kill the victim were also seriously injured by the game store owner's family. When Phu Nhuan District Police arrived at the scene, the two groups had just left.

Evidence collected at the scene

Phu Nhuan District Police coordinated with PC45 to examine the scene, collect evidence, take statements from injured subjects and send many detective teams to investigate the remaining subjects.

At Hoa My Hospital, there are still traces of a fight. Phu Nhuan District Police confiscated many weapons that the subjects left in the hospital.

The deceased victim was autopsied to clarify the cause of death and then the procedures were completed and handed over to the family for burial.

As the incident is under investigation, the identities of the victims and injured persons are being kept confidential.
