A fight at a karaoke bar left one person stabbed in the lung.

On the afternoon of October 7, Duc Trong District Police said they were investigating a brawl that occurred in the area, leaving three people injured and hospitalized. One person was slashed seven times and stabbed through the lung.

Initial information said that at around 11:30 pm on October 6, Ha Tien Sy (27 years old, residing in Lien Hiep commune, Duc Trong, Lam Dong) and 5 friends went to a karaoke bar in Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district to sing and then got into a conflict with a group of about 10 other young men. After that, the two sides fought.

Mr. Sy was hospitalized for emergency treatment because he was slashed 7 times and 1 stab wound penetrated his lung.

During the fight, Mr. Sy was stabbed and slashed 7 times, 2 times in the head and 5 times in the back. The most serious was the stab wound to the back that penetrated his lung, causing Mr. Sy to faint on the spot. Two of Mr. Sy’s friends were also injured in the legs and arms.

That same night, the locals informed the victim’s family and took him to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment. By the afternoon of October 7, Ha Tien Sy’s health had passed the critical stage but he still occasionally slipped into a coma.
