Merging 2 units to establish the Do Luong District Cultural, Sports and Communication Center
(Baonghean.vn) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy signed Decision No. 5325/QD-UBND dated December 3 approving the Project to merge the District Culture - Information and Sports Center with the District Radio - Television Station into the Do Luong District Culture, Sports and Communications Center; expected to be implemented in December 2018.

Do Luong District Culture - Information and Sports Center currently has a total of 13 civil servants, public employees, and labor contracts, of which 12 are on the payroll and 1 is under contract 68. In addition, the unit also contracts 3 more workers and covers its own expenses from revenue. The Center currently has a Director, 1 Deputy Director and 3 professional and technical groups including: Culture - Information, Sports, and Administration.
Do Luong District Radio and Television Station currently has 9 civil servants and 4 labor contracts transferred by Nghe An Radio and Television Station. The station has 1 Chief and 1 Deputy Chief, along with professional and technical departments: reporters, technicians and administration.
According to the project, after the merger, the Do Luong District Culture, Sports and Communication Center will be a public service unit under the District People's Committee and will have a director and no more than 2 deputy directors and professional and technical departments including: Administration, Technology; Culture, Sports and Radio and Television.
The staffing and number of employees of the Center are assigned by the Provincial People's Committee according to the annual staffing plan. Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the structure of job titles and positions according to regulations, the staffing norms are issued by the competent authority based on the actual conditions of the agency or unit.
In the immediate future, when newly established and merged, the number of employees assigned to the Center will be equal to the total number of civil servants and public employees currently in the staffing quota of the units when reorganized (21 staff, 2 staff less than in 2015, equivalent to 8.7%) and continue to implement the staff streamlining policy according to regulations.
The new center will use the entire area and campus of the two units before the merger, but will have a planning and investment plan to ensure spaciousness, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation; at the same time, it will be able to bring revenue to the unit.
