Visiting Nghi Phong Secondary School, the impressive thing is the large, airy school yard with many trees; spacious and modern facilities. In the 2022 - 2023 school year, the school has a total of 34 staff, teachers and employees, with 536 students divided into 13 classes. After being recognized as a national standard school in 2014, Nghi Phong Secondary School's educational activities have been constantly promoted; infrastructure has been enhanced; emulation movements launched by the industry and the locality always attract the attention of staff, teachers and students with enthusiasm and spirit. Teacher Nguyen Dinh Dai - Principal of Nghi Phong Secondary School said: "Striving to build Nghi Phong Secondary School to meet national standards, from 2021 to now, authorities at all levels have paid attention to investing in building multi-purpose classrooms, multi-purpose gyms, school yards, school gates, fences, and toilets to ensure the criteria of level 2 standards with a total investment of more than 17.5 billion VND... In addition, the school has mobilized resources to renovate the landscape, equip facilities and teaching equipment. Up to now, all classrooms are equipped with televisions; practice rooms and basic IT rooms are fully equipped. The school is continuing to mobilize socialization to equip more equipment, renovate facilities and landscapes to move towards having a beautiful and modern school, recognized as a school that meets national standards at level 2".
At Nghi Van Primary School, the work of building a school that meets national standards is also identified by the school's Board of Directors as one of the key tasks to effectively implement the goal of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation. Teacher Vo Van Tuan - Principal of Nghi Van Primary School said: “After being recognized as a national standard school, the school continued to consult and receive attention from local authorities to invest in many infrastructure items such as building new multi-purpose classrooms, renovating classrooms, upgrading the school yard to ensure the school's criteria meet level 2 standards. Up to now, the school has 31 solid classrooms, of which 19 are equipped with smart TVs; there are 02 English rooms, 02 IT rooms and enough rooms to serve the subjects of Fine Arts, Music, Science... From this result, along with maintaining and improving the quality of the teaching staff, in October 2021, the school was assessed and recognized by the Department of Education and Training as a level 3 accreditation school and recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a level 2 national standard school".

The above results are both a source of pride and motivation for each staff and teacher of Nghi Van Primary School to strive to further improve the quality of education. Every year, the school's student completion rate is 99.6% or higher. Improve the quality of education
In order to achieve high results in the construction of national standard schools in the area, Nghi Loc district has always actively implemented the Party's Resolutions, policies and laws of the State on education. The district People's Committee has directed localities to proactively review and develop plans and roadmaps for investment in facilities for schools in the area based on the actual situation; at the same time, prioritize resources for investment in school construction, especially proactively seeking and calling on successful local businesses, businessmen, philanthropists and children who are working and living far from their hometowns to actively support and contribute to the construction of school and classroom facilities.
In addition, every year, based on the criteria of national standard schools, the district Department of Education and Training has instructed schools and localities to review a number of conditions on facilities and equipment such as: campus, playground, practice ground, functional rooms... to have investment and construction plans. By the end of November 2022, the whole district had 83/89 schools meeting national standards (reaching a rate of 93.2%); of which, 17/89 schools met national standards level 2 (reaching a rate of 19.2%). For preschool level, there were 25/29 schools, reaching a rate of 86.2%; for primary level, there were 30/30 schools, reaching a rate of 100%; for secondary level, there were 23/25 schools, reaching a rate of 92%; for high school level, there were 5/5 (public), reaching a rate of 100%. It is expected that by the end of 2022, the district will have 3 more standard schools, bringing the number of schools meeting national standards to 86/89, reaching a rate of 96.6%; the number and quality of standard schools are assessed by the Department of Education and Training as being among the top in the province.

The construction of national standard schools contributes to improving the quality of comprehensive education at all levels in Nghi Loc district. In the 2021-2022 school year, the quality of child care, education and nurturing is guaranteed; the Preschool Education Program is well implemented. The quality of primary education remains stable, the new General Education Program in 2018 for grades 1 and 2 is systematically and effectively implemented; the rate of students recognized as graduating from junior high school is 99.9%; the quality of excellent students at the provincial level in grade 9 increased by 11 prizes, including the province's top student in Literature and Mathematics. The rate of high school graduates is 99.83%; the number of excellent students in the province and students passing university and college entrance exams is higher year after year.
Nghi Loc district is currently implementing Program 07 / BCH District Party Committee on "Improving the quality of education associated with the implementation of the new General Education Program 2018"; The District People's Committee has organized direct work and 29 communes and towns have committed to continue to pay attention to expanding the school area, and at the same time mobilize 1,000 billion VND for investment in school facilities from now until 2026. In the coming time, the district will continue to direct the Education sector to review the school network, complete the infrastructure system, pay attention to investing in functional departments to ensure comprehensive educational development; issue a support level of the District People's Council for each qualified school of 500 million VND to support the construction of facilities. Along with that, continue to review and improve the quality of the teaching staff, management staff, especially the teaching staff of the new General Education Program 2018; Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in education to serve teaching and learning. At the same time, promote the work of promoting learning, socialization, and mobilizing the attention of the whole society in investing and developing education. The district strives to have 100% of schools meeting national standards by 2025, of which 30% - 35% of schools meet national standards at level 2.
With the achievements, from 2016 - 2017 to present, Nghi Loc district education sector has been classified by the Department of Education and Training as Excellent in completing tasks. In the 2020 - 2021 school year, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the leading unit in the emulation movement. In the 2020 - 2021; 2021 - 2022 school year, the Minister of Education and Training and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Certificate of Merit to the unit for Excellently completing tasks.
