Opening of the 15th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Nghe An province - cluster 2

(Baognhean.vn) - On the morning of February 23, at Quy Chau district stadium, the opening ceremony of the 15th Nghe An Province Phu Dong Sports Festival 2012 - cluster 2, including Thai Hoa town, Nghia Dan district, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong with 405 participating athletes and 30 referees officiated the matches, took place.

Attending the opening ceremony of the 15th Nghe An Province Phu Dong Sports Festival - Cluster 2 were comrade Lang Van Chien - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Quy Chau District Party Committee; leaders of Quy Chau district, Department of Education and Training, along with a large number of teachers, students, and athletes from Nghia Dan district, Thai Hoa town, Quy Hop district, Quy Chau district, Que Phong district.

Participating in this Phu Dong Sports Festival, athletes will compete in 6 sports: badminton, table tennis, shuttlecock, chess, volleyball, and soccer. Athletics and crossbow shooting will not compete this time but will be selected directly from the districts.

This is a playground for students to exercise, have fun, entertain, and is an opportunity to select sports talents to prepare for the 15th Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival taking place in March 2012.
