TIn the fall, the weather starts to cool down, the sun is no longer as bright as in the middle of summer. Tourist attractions in Nghe An have significantly reduced the number of visitors, not as crowded and bustling as a few months ago. Therefore, to attract tourists in the low season, the tourism industry and localities of the province are building, exploiting and promoting autumn-winter tourism products to attract tourists.

Cua Lo Town is always a pioneer in renewing and diversifying products to "retain" tourists during the low season. According to Mr. Hoang Thanh Son - Head of the Town's Department of Culture and Information, this year's Fall - Winter tourist season will implement many programs to reduce prices on food and accommodation services; improve service quality, organize events and festivals to attract visitors. Wards maintain cultural destinations of coastal villages that have been built, organize tours to experience traditional markets, craft villages and shop for OCOP products such as mackerel, shrimp, dried squid, etc.

At the same time, Cua Lo town also embellishes and expands the grounds of relics and spiritual destinations to become more beautiful and spacious. Traditional festivals associated with relics are held throughout the year. Visitors to Cua Lo will live in the joyful atmosphere of the festival days.

Besides sea tourism, Nghe An also has resources to build and develop many other types of tourism, including cultural and spiritual tourism. The rich historical relic system distributed throughout districts, towns and cities is a condition to attract tourists and develop spiritual tourism. Along with the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan), the system of temples and pagodas is cared for by localities to restore, protect and serve tourists at the end of the year.
In recent years, Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (Do Luong) has attracted a large number of pilgrims, becoming a "spiritual destination" for visitors from near and far. Mr. Phan Trong Loc - Director of the Relic Site said: Visitors to Truong Bon are spread evenly throughout the year, and the number of visitors remains stable in the Fall - Winter. The management board regularly improves service quality, builds tourist attractions, check-in points and increases promotion to attract visitors, especially in the low months.

Famous sacred temples and pagodas such as Con Temple, Qua Temple, Cuong Temple, Ong Hoang Muoi Temple, Emperor Quang Trung Temple, Dai Tue Pagoda, Gam Pagoda, etc. are always ready to serve tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery, burn incense, and worship. In particular, the end of the year is the time when temples and pagodas organize religious activities and thanksgiving ceremonies, which will attract a large number of visitors, creating conditions for the development of spiritual and cultural tourism.

After the peak tourist season, coastal destinations are no longer attractive, so eco-community tourism in the West is an interesting experience. Western Nghe An is considered a "treasure" to exploit and develop tourism products in the Fall - Winter.
Community tourism destinations that have affirmed their brands such as Khe Ran, Ban Nua, Ban Xieng (Con Cuong) and Hoa Tien (Quy Chau) always have their own appeal with cultural spaces, art exchange programs and unique cuisine. In addition, some newly built products such as Co Muong, Muong Dan (Que Phong), Yen Hoa (Tuong Duong), Ban Bong (Anh Son) have also begun to attract tourists to explore and experience.

A special feature of Western Nghe An is that community tourism spots are often associated with eco-tourism products, creating great attraction for tourists. For example, spots in Con Cuong district are associated with "Tra Lan area", Pu Mat mountains and forests and the scenic spot of Giang - Pha Lai river; Hoa Tien spot (Quy Chau) is associated with the scenic spot of Bua cave and dozens of water wheels; Muong Dan spot (Que Phong) is associated with the beauty of Nam Viec river; Bong village spot (Anh Son) is associated with the charming scenery in the lower reaches of Con river...
The combination of natural landscapes and unique cultural and traditional life of ethnic minorities in the West always creates an attraction for people from urban areas. Especially the culinary culture of the mountainous people, dishes with the rich flavors of the mountains and forests such as bamboo rice, five-color sticky rice, beef, black pork, black chicken and wine with fermented leaves will bring memorable experiences to visitors.

In recent years, the West has also seen the emergence of attractive agricultural tourism destinations. These are the fields, valleys, and hills of flowers in Phu Quy competing to show off their colors; the orchards of ripe fruit trees always beckon. Here, there are tourist destinations that, when mentioned, always evoke the beauty of the landscape and overflowing joy such as Hon Mat, Truong Gia Farm, and Phu Quy Flower Fields.
According to Mr. Dang Trong Tan - Director of Hon Mat Tourist Area, tourist destinations in Phu Quy area are promoting connections, cooperation and product promotion to expand the market, especially in the Fall - Winter season.

In addition, in the Western Nghe An region, a number of new products in the form of adventure tourism have recently been completed. Notably, the product of conquering Puxailaileng peak (Ky Son) has great appeal to young people, especially those who love to explore and assert their bravery.
“Conquering Puxailaileng peak, the highest peak of the Northern Truong Son range, visitors can enjoy the majestic and poetic scenery; immerse themselves in the natural scenery, blend with the clouds, mountains, rivers, grass, trees, flowers, etc. The locality is actively promoting its potential as well as the products that have been formed so that more and more visitors can come to explore and experience,” said Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district.

The Department of Tourism is developing a plan to promote and market tourism products for the Fall - Winter season. It will focus on organizing conferences, seminars, participating in fairs inside and outside the province and coordinating with media agencies to promote products.
