Inauguration of Chung Son Temple - Temple to worship the ancestors of President Ho Chi Minh

In order to honor and forever remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and his family members, with the approval of the Central Party Secretariat, the Government, the coordination of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the support of the North Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank, in 2012, the Chung Son Temple project was started to be built on the top of Chung Mountain, in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, a place that was deeply associated with President Ho Chi Minh during his childhood.

Chung Son Temple is built in harmony with the overall landscape and architectural space of the Kim Lien special national relic site and in accordance with the development planning of the Chung Mountain Cultural, Spiritual and Ecological Tourism Area. In the future, it will become an attractive tourist destination attracting a large number of visitors, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

The Chung Son Temple project has a very special meaning, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's tradition of remembering the source of water, responding to the earnest desire of the people of Nghe An and the whole country to commemorate and show gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and his family members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc commended the leaders of Nghe An province, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank - the unit selected by the Standing Committee of Nghe An province, and the province to start the project in 2012 when the whole country was facing many difficulties due to the post-economic crisis period, and to complete the construction of a Chung Son Temple project of special significance.

The Prime Minister stated: For the first time in the country, we have a solemn place of worship for the parents and siblings of Uncle Ho's family - becoming a meaningful cultural and historical address for people and tourists to express their admiration and gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of Uncle Ho's loved ones.

The completion of the Ho Chi Minh Ancestral Temple has deeply conveyed the historical, cultural and national identity of Nghe An, demonstrating solidarity, unity and solidarity - consolidating national strength, promoting good humanistic values.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested: Chung Son Temple is part of the Project to build the Chung Mountain Historical Cultural Tourism Relic Site. Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank must soon complete the Project so that this place will soon become the starting point for the journey to visit Uncle Ho's hometown of people across the country and international friends.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee sincerely thanked the leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Central Committees, Ministries, branches and provinces and cities across the country for always having good feelings for Nghe An province; at the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, he would continue to receive more attention, direction and support in the socio-economic development of Nghe An province.

Nghe An seriously absorbs the Prime Minister's instructions to quickly concretize and supplement the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and foreign affairs; Party building work, building the province's political system in 2020; the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025 and the following years.

The Provincial Party Secretary respectfully thanked the provincial leaders of all periods, the Nguyen Sinh, Hoang Xuan, Ha families and the artisans who devoted much effort to the project; and thanked the Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank for investing funds to build this meaningful project.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant sectors and units, especially with the Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Nam Dan district, the Nguyen Sinh, Hoang Xuan and Ha families to effectively manage, preserve and promote the value of Chung Son temple in accordance with regulations; best serving the needs of sightseeing, tourism and commemoration of the people and tourists.

At the ceremony, delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate Chung Son Temple; performed traditional rituals including the opening ceremony and the incense and flower offering ceremony; participated in tree planting in the Temple grounds following the motto "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people" of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader and great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, national liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, "He who has brought glory to our nation, our people and our country"./.
