Commencement of building charity house for poor war veterans in Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 28, the Association of War Veterans of Quynh Luu district held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a house of gratitude for two members of the Association of War Veterans in difficult circumstances in Quynh Hoa commune.

They are the family of veteran Vo Thi Doan, a 3/4 disabled veteran, a victim of Agent Orange, and veteran Nguyen Vinh Quang, a victim of Agent Orange. Both families are poor and near-poor. Due to poor health, illness, and children with disabilities caused by Agent Orange, for many years now, both veterans have lived in dilapidated houses that they cannot afford to repair.
On this occasion, the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation supported each family with 50 million VND along with the help and support of relatives so that the war veterans could start building new houses.
In the immediate future, the District Veterans Association will coordinate with the Quynh Hoa Commune Veterans Association to direct and help build a house for veteran Nguyen Vinh Quang. It is estimated that the 3-room tiled house with an area of 90 square meters will cost 200 million VND to build. This is a meaningful activity to encourage the spirit and material to help the veteran rise up in life./.
