Two truck drivers prosecuted for squeezing car on highway
On September 2, the Traffic Police Department announced that the Investigation Police Agency of Van Yen District Police (Yen Bai) had issued a decision to prosecute the case of "Disturbing public order" against 2 truck drivers who crushed a car on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

Working with the authorities, driver Chu Viet C. (born in 1983, residing in Doan Hung, Phu Tho) confessed that the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on August 16. At that time, driver C. was driving a truck with license plate number 19C-075.XX. When reaching Km153 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway in the direction of Hanoi, this is a highway section with two lanes restricted to vehicles, with a solid yellow parallel line in the middle, suddenly a car with license plate number 99A-531.XX overtook on the right and cut in front of the car.

Feeling angry, Chu Viet C. called driver Le Huu C. (born in 1975) driving truck with license plate 19H-034.XX with the support team to stop the car to discuss right and wrong.
At Km149, driver Chu Viet C. drove his car ahead, squeezing the car for about 300 - 400m.
According to documents from the police agency, the actions of the two drivers Le Huu C. and Chu Viet C. constituted the crime of "Disturbing public order" as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 318 of the Penal Code.
