Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Thang - Head of Dong Xuan District Police said that at noon on February 5 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger), Nguyen Vo Phuoc Hoang (born in 2012, residing in Long Chau quarter, La Hai town, Dong Xuan district) was standing in front of his grandmother Vo Thi Phuong's house, holding a Samsung A12 phone worth nearly 5 million VND. Suddenly, a young man walked up, snatched the phone from Hoang's hand and escaped.
The incident occurred in a rural area, there were no security cameras in the area, Hoang was only 10 years old so he could not describe the identity of the robber. However, nearly 1 hour after receiving the report, detectives from the Criminal Police Department of Dong Xuan District Police pursued and arrested the perpetrator Nguyen Minh Man, and recovered the evidence.
