Prosecution of 'businessman' who bought drugs to use and 'entertain guests'

On October 28, the Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dan District Police announced that the unit had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and detain Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1983), residing in Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City, for 4 months for the act of "Illegal possession of drugs".

It is known that Nguyen Van Phuc is a notorious subject in Vinh City, often appearing in Nam Dan District. He has a criminal record forgambleand drugs, and having worked abroad for a while, Phuc has many complicated social relationships.

Having experience in many different environments and looking like a businessman, Nguyen Van Phuc operates very discreetly and professionally in drug transactions and dealing with authorities.

Previously, on October 21, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Crime, Economy, and Drugs, Nam Dan District Police coordinated with Kim Lien Commune Police and the Kim Lien Relic Site Target Protection Company to divide into 3 reconnaissance teams to lie in ambush at locations where Phuc was expected to appear.

At about 2:20 p.m., authorities discovered a white car with license plate 37D - 022.74 moving at high speed in Kim Lien commune.

Assuming that it was Nguyen Van Phuc's car, three reconnaissance teams deployed professional measures and tightened the siege. When they realized that their actions were discovered, Nguyen Van Phuc panicked, stopped the car, opened the door and ran out in an attempt to dispose of the evidence.

However, having identified the above situations, the reconnaissance teams quickly coordinated with each other to successfully control and arrest Phuc, seizing 36.3 grams of ecstasy.

At the police station, Phuc initially confessed to his crime. According to the police, Nguyen Van Phuc was addicted to drugs and often bought drugs to use and “entertain customers”./.
