Mr. Dinh Van Phu, 61 years old (Hamlet 2, Hung Hoa Commune, Vinh City) and his wife are harvesting sedge in the field and said: For many years, his family has relied on sedge fields and a few rice fields; but they are afraid that the sedge profession will gradually disappear. Now, after harvesting, the sedge is dried and sold to traders. They are no longer woven directly because hand weaving is very economically inefficient. Photo: Trung Ha |
