Provincial Agricultural Extension Department gives project breeding cows to poor households in Yen Thanh

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 25, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center coordinated with the Yen Thanh District Agricultural Extension Station to donate breeding cows within the framework of the Central Agricultural Extension Project for the period 2016 - 2020 "Building a model to apply agricultural technical advances to transform the structure of crops and livestock" in Ly Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

The provincial agricultural extension center coordinated with the Yen Thanh district agricultural extension station to organize the donation of breeding cows in Ly Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

Here, the delegation directly presented 10 breeding cows to 5 poor households with especially difficult circumstances in Ly Thanh commune, including Mr. Thai Van Chien in hamlet 1, Mrs. Tran Thi Ngoc in hamlet 3, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Muoi in hamlet 6, Mr. Thai Van Nghia in hamlet 5, Mr. Tran Dang Hai in hamlet 8. Each breeding cow is worth about 20 million VND. At the same time, households participating in the project will be trained in applying agricultural technical advances to cow care. After presenting breeding cows, the district Agricultural Extension Station and local authorities will coordinate to inspect and supervise the livestock raising of households.
