Checking election preparation work in Yen Thanh

On the morning of April 13, the working delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Election Committee led by Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, inspected the preparation work for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Yen Thanh district.

The delegation inspected the situation and grasped the progress of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Yen Thanh town.

According to the delegation's assessment, the Town Election Committee has done a good job of preparing, promoting propaganda, establishing review teams, and posting voter lists at polling stations. The process of consultation and taking votes of confidence from voters has achieved high results, with no complaints.

Working with the District Election Steering Committee, comradeBui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee acknowledged the efforts of all levels in Yen Thanh in the election preparation work. In the coming time, the Election Committee from district to grassroots in Yen Thanh needs to focus on inspection and supervision to promptly remedy each specific content and work, especially in areas predicted to have difficulties; pay attention to professional training for election teams.

At the same time, step up propaganda work on information systems; grasp and master the situation in the area to proactively have solutions to handle problems that may arise, so that election day truly becomes a festival for all people.

After the second consultation conference, the Yen Thanh District Election Committee agreed to establish a preliminary list of candidates for the People's Council at the district level of 91 people and at the commune level of 1,947 people and completed the organization of collecting opinions from voters at their place of residence. The whole district has 286 constituencies and 303 polling stations.
