Checking the preparations for the 2023 military enlistment ceremony in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - This morning (January 30), the working delegation of the Provincial Military Command led by Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command inspected the preparations for the 2023 Military Handover Ceremony in Thanh Chuong district.
This year, Thanh Chuong district was assigned a target of 280 young men to join the military service, assigned to 6 units: Division 375 of the Air Defense - Air Force; Artillery Brigade 16; Engineer Brigade 414; Air Defense Brigade 283; Provincial Border Guard and Regiment 764, Provincial Military Command.

To prepare for the military handover ceremony scheduled to take place on the morning of February 7, the Thanh Chuong District Military Command has determined the venue at the district stadium; assigned professional staff to coordinate with the district departments and branches to prepare a system of signs, boards, banners, slogans, and loudspeakers arranged in accordance with regulations; completed the records and list of citizens joining the army and performing their duty to join the People's Public Security, and the minutes of handover to the military receiving unit in accordance with the form.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: Thanh Chuong is a unit with a large number of young people joining the army this time, so all work must be carefully prepared from security and order plans to organization and logistics; military handover ceremony, ensuring quality and quantity as required.
At the same time, it is necessary to grasp the ideological situation of the recruited youth to promptly coordinate with organizations to mobilize and handle any situations that may arise. In particular, localities need to pay attention to implementing the military rear policy well, reviewing the family circumstances of each recruited youth to have timely support policies for difficult cases so that the youth can feel secure when joining the army and fulfilling their sacred duty to the Fatherland.
To ensure the number of soldiers and the health of young men who are about to join the army and participate in military service, localities have had many solutions in the initial and health examination for military service such as: clinical examination, HIV and drug testing; equipping eye and blood pressure measuring machines for examination; issuing regulations assigning responsibility to leaders in military recruitment work.

In addition, localities coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and advised the Provincial People's Committee to give gifts to citizens in especially difficult circumstances; departments, branches, mass organizations, hamlets, communes, and districts at all levels organized activities to visit, encourage, and give gifts to all young men joining the army, each gift worth from 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND or more... Up to now, 100% of young men have been present in the locality and have received the call-up order, personal military equipment, and are ready to leave for military service.
