Nghe An organizes military recruitment conference in 2025

Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Colonel Tran Vo Viet - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command co-chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were representatives of the leaders of Military Region 4; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province; representatives of leaders of military units receiving soldiers.

In recent years, districts, cities and towns in the whole province have thoroughly grasped, led, directed and organized the implementation resolutely and seriously.Law on Military Service; Decisions of the Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense, Military Region and Provincial People's Committee... to select and call up for military service to meet the quota, ensuring quality. The process of recruiting and calling up citizens for military service upholds democracy, publicity, fairness and compliance with the law.

In 2024, the whole province selected and assigned over 3,200 citizens to join the army, reaching 100% of the target, of which 887 citizens volunteered to join the army; health level 1 and 2 reached over 77%; university and college level reached over 5.5%; there were no cases of compensation or return. The assignment and receipt of soldiers was strict, ensuring safety, thereby contributing significantly to ensuring the number of soldiers for units, meeting the requirements of organization and staffing of the army.

In 2025, Nghe An province was allocated a recruitment target of over 3,200 citizens to join the army. To carry out this work, Nghe An province has been implementing steps to select citizens to join the army to ensure democracy, fairness, transparency and quality.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Vo Viet - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command clearly stated the direction and tasks of the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025; requested localities and units to strengthen the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and synchronously deploy measures to implement the work of recruiting soldiers. Localities and units receiving soldiers must agree on the time to penetrate, review records, finalize the number of soldiers, issue orders to join the army in accordance with regulations, have solutions to manage citizens after issuing orders; organize the ceremony to hand over and receive soldiers in accordance with regulations, solemnly, safely and economically.

At the conference, the military units receiving the soldiers and the military sending localities signed the 2025 military recruitment contract minutes and implemented the signed contents./.
