Signing of cooperation between the culture, sports and education sectors

On the afternoon of April 12, the Department of Culture and Sports - Department of Education and Training held a signing ceremony for the Program to coordinate the organization of cultural and sports activities in schools for the period 2021 - 2025. Members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Thai Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports co-chaired the conference.

This is the first time the signing has been carried out with the aim of further promoting cultural and sports activities in schools, making these activities a routine, aiming to improve health, foster moral qualities, educate personality, lifestyle, and aesthetics for students.

Through these activities, we also contribute to comprehensive education for students and promote the movement to protect and promote patriotic traditions, revolutionary traditions and national cultural traditions, repel and prevent social evils and school violence, contribute to maintaining political stability and making society healthy;

At the same time, it contributes to promoting the value of cultural heritage, works and facilities of cultural and sports institutions in the whole province.

Previously, the two units had many coordinated activities during the implementation process such as organizing folk song competitions in schools, teaching folk songs in schools, cultural heritage research competitions, fine arts awards for children, bringing local history education and Soviet Nghe Tinh traditions into schools. In addition, implementing sports competitions such asPhu Dong Sports Festival, Sports Congress and implementing a safe swimming teaching program.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, DirectorDepartment of Education and TrainingThai Van Thanh highly appreciated the implementation of the signing program. In the context of innovation in the education sector, developing qualities and capacities is one of the important factors for comprehensive development of students.

From this point of view, the education sector also hopes that in the coming time, the Department of Culture and Sports will create conditions for schools to expand extracurricular activities, experience cultural relics, develop the teaching of folk songs in schools and consider this as one of the compulsory subjects in the new curriculum. In addition, we will coordinate to build library models to form a reading culture in schools.

At the signing ceremony, both units signed 9 important contents based on the results achieved in recent years. In particular, the signing program includes the content of coordinating to support conditions for developing sports talents. Thereby, it will create favorable conditions for procedures, documents, and school transfer forathletesports, participating in provincial and national sports competitions. At the same time, we will coordinate in searching for, nurturing and retaining talented people for high-performance sports in the province.
