Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly added that Tay Lan incense sticks are not only supplied to the domestic market but also exported to the Lao market. Although the incense sticks imported to Laos are small and have low prices, in return, they are imported in large quantities, so the income for workers is still stable. Photo: Dinh Tuyen |

It is known that Tay Lan incense village has existed for a long time, and was recognized as a craft village by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in 2011. At its peak, this village had more than 30 households producing incense. However, most of these households have now contributed capital and worked together, so there are only 12 incense-making establishments left. Each incense-making establishment has created jobs for dozens of local people. Photo: Dinh Tuyen |
