After checking the summer-autumn rice harvest situation in localities, comrade Nguyen Van De - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural DevelopmentDirection: Summer-autumn production at the end of the season often faces risks due to floods. Districts need to continue directing communes to focus on propaganda and mobilizing people to harvest immediately.avoid damageon rice fields that are 70% or more ripe.

Urgently mobilize harvesters and labor to harvest rice, speed up progress, and try to complete harvesting in low-lying areas before September 5.

Particularly for highland areas, late planting and late harvesting, it is easy for insects and pests to concentrate on the harvested areas and cause damage, so it is necessary to visit the fields regularly, detect and handle them promptly and effectively.

Closely monitor weather developments and harvest quickly when the rice is 80% ripe or more to avoid damage caused by storms./.
