Vinh City leaders present 150 Mid-Autumn gifts to disadvantaged children
(Baonghean.vn) - The gifts are a valuable source of encouragement to help disadvantaged children in Vinh City have a Mid-Autumn Festival filled with love and strive to become good children and good students.
On the evening of September 22, at Vinh walking street, Vinh City People's Committee organized a Mid-Autumn Festival for children. Attending the program were comrades: Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; Ho Thi Chau Loan - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province; Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee; representatives of departments, wards and communes in Vinh City and children.

The Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme "Moon for you" aims to express love for children, helping them have more motivation to study well, practice hard, strive to become good children, good students, good grandchildren of beloved Uncle Ho.
At the same time, it also shows the community's concern and sharing for children in difficult circumstances, giving them more strength and confidence to rise up in life.
This is a program of profound social significance, demonstrating the concern of all levels, sectors and the whole society in the work of caring for, educating and protecting adolescents and children, creating conditions for children to develop comprehensively, especially for children in difficult circumstances in the area.


Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee emphasized the role of future young people, and hoped that all levels of sectors, units, wards, communes, schools and families would always care for and love the younger generation, helping them develop into talented people for the country and useful citizens for society.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Vinh City presented 150 gifts to poor children and children in especially difficult circumstances in the city. Each gift was worth over 1,250,000 VND, including 1 million VND in cash and moon cakes. Children attending the program also received meaningful gifts from the city.
