Leaders of Thai Hoa town visited and presented gifts to Border Guard Station 553

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 20, a working delegation of Thai Hoa town led by comrade Le Tien Tri - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee visited officers and soldiers of Border Guard Station 553 (a sister unit of Thai Hoa town people), in Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district.

The leaders of Border Guard Station 553 thanked the working delegation for their concern and sharing.

Border Guard Station 553 is responsible for managing and protecting more than 20 km of border, stationed in difficult conditions due to terrain and harsh weather conditions. In 2014, promoting the tradition of the border guard force, officers and soldiers of Border Guard Station 553 always uphold their spirit and responsibility, apply border guard measures, and closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities. At the same time, the station has demonstrated its close ties with the Thai, Kinh, Kho Mu, and Dan Lai ethnic groups, fighting against all types of subjects, protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining political stability, security and order in the border area.

Speaking to encourage the officers and soldiers of the station, comrade Le Tien Tri shared the difficulties of the officers and soldiers during their work. He also hoped that in the coming time, the collective of officers and soldiers of the unit would continue to promote the achievements they have made, always successfully carry out tasks in all aspects of work, maintain political security, social order and safety; and propagate and mobilize the local people of Chau Khe commune to develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

On behalf of the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Hoa town, the delegation presented 5 million VND to a soldier's family in especially difficult circumstances and 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 10 families in difficult circumstances in Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district.
