'Exposing' female clothing shop owner in Nghe An for loan sharking, threatening debtors
(Baonghean.vn) - As the owner of a fairly famous clothing shop in Do Luong town, with a personal Facebook page with tens of thousands of followers, Nguyen Thi Hoa is also a creditor specializing in loan sharking. When debtors are slow to pay or pay late, Hoa will shame this person on Facebook, or send her drug addicts to her house to put pressure on them.
Through investigation and situation grasping, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Crime - Economy - Drugs of Do Luong District Police identified Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1989, residing in Block 3, Do Luong Town, Do Luong District) as being active.usurywith many sophisticated methods and tricks.

During the lending process, Hoa asked the borrower to write a ward receipt and recorded a video of the borrower stating that he did not collect interest, in order to conceal her lending activities. Hoa hid all the books and documents elsewhere. Every afternoon, under the pretense of collecting ward money, Hoa asked the debtor to come to her clothing shop to pay the installments.
After having sufficient grounds to determine the criminal activity, on September 18, 2020, Do Luong District Police urgently arrested, searched Hoa's person and residence; seized all related documents; and clarified the following: Since May 2020, Hoa has lent a total amount of 486 million VND tointerest rate3,000 VND/million/day through civil transactions.
Currently, the police are continuing to handle the case in accordance with the law.
