Perfume Pagoda Festival (Hanoi)
Time: Opening on February 3, 2025 (January 6) and lasting for 3 months.
Location: Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi.

The Perfume Pagoda Festival or the Perfume Pagoda Pilgrimage is a Vietnamese festival, located in My Duc, Hanoi. In the Huong Son scenic area, it is considered a journey to a Buddhist land - where Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara manifests to practice. This is a large festival in terms of the number of Buddhists participating in the pilgrimage.
Based on the distribution of scenic spots, 3 sightseeing routes are formed.
Route 1: Main route - Huong Tich route
Trinh Temple - Thien Tru Pagoda - Tien Son Cave - Giai Oan Pagoda - Cua Vong Temple

The day before the festival, all temples, pagodas, communal houses, and shrines are filled with incense smoke, and the festive atmosphere covers the whole Huong Son commune. At the beginning, the Lion Dance team will perform a performance to welcome visitors and Buddhists from everywhere.
Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival (Hanoi)
Time: Opening on February 3, 2025 (January 6) to February 7, 2025 (January 10).
Location: Hai Ba Trung Temple special national relic site, Me Linh district, Hanoi.

The festival is held according to state rituals and local traditions, including the Ceremony and the Festival.
Ceremony: Organizing the 1985th Anniversary of the Trung Sisters' Uprising, offering incense, holding a rally to commemorate the day the Trung Sisters sacrificed the uprising flag and performing a traditional ceremony.
Festival Part: takes place from February 3, 2025 to February 7, 2025 (from the 4th to the 10th of January). The Organizing Committee will organize cultural and artistic activities, traditional folk games, and sports competitions for people and tourists to enjoy.
Tien Cong Festival (Quang Ninh)
Time: From February 2 to February 4, 2025 (January 5 to 7).
Location: Ha Nam Island, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province.

Tien Cong Festival 2025 is an important event in a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and respond to the National Tourism Year 2025.
The highlight is the ceremony of carrying the Elder to Tien Cong Temple on the main festival day (January 7).
This year, the festival has three collective processions with 35 elders and nearly 200 seniors leading the ceremony to the temple. The elders who are 80, 90, and 100 years old will be carried by their children and grandchildren on palanquins to the Tien Cong temple to perform the ceremony to honor their ancestors.
Tran Temple Seal Opening Festival (Nam Dinh)
Time: From February 8 to February 13, 2025 (January 11 to 16).
Location: Tran Temple relic site, Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh city.

According to the plan, the festival management period is from January 29 to February 27 (ie from January 1 to 30); the festival organization period is from February 8 to 13 (ie from January 11 to 16, At Ty year).
On January 11, the Ngoc Lo palanquin procession is held. On January 12, the water procession and fish sacrifice ceremony is held.
On January 14, from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM, visitors and people without duties are invited to go outside the Tran Temple grounds so that the Organizing Committee can prepare for the incense offering ceremony, the procession of the Seal Palanquin and the Opening of the Seal. From 11:15 PM, the Opening of the Seal ceremony will be performed.
During the Opening Seal ceremony, to ensure the solemnity of the traditional ceremony, the Organizing Committee will close Thien Truong Temple.
From 5am on January 15, the Organizing Committee will distribute seals to people and tourists at 3 locations: Giai Vu House, Exhibition House and Trung Hoa Temple.
On January 16 (February 13), the rituals and ceremonies of the Shangyuan Festival and the Tran Dynasty ancestors were performed by the Nam Quan Tuc Mac sacrificial group at Co Trach Temple.
During the festival days, at locations within the Tran Temple relic site and Dong A Square, many cultural and artistic activities, folk games, displays and exhibitions will be held such as: lion - unicorn - dragon dance; human chess competition, cockfighting, display of ornamental creatures; photo exhibition "Thanh Nam - historical milestones"; display of beautiful photos of Nam Dinh tourism. It is expected that 5 nights of typical traditional art performances will be held from the 9th to the 13th of the first lunar month at Dong A Square.
Traditional Wrestling Competition of Mac Dynasty (Hai Phong)
Time: From February 8 to February 10, 2025 (January 11 to 13).
Location: Ngu Doan Commune, Kien Thuy District, Hai Phong City.

On the occasion of the spring of At Ty 2025, the 4th Traditional Wrestling Competition of the Mac Dynasty continues to be held as a legacy, continuing the unique folk festival that was initiated and taught by Thai To Nhan Minh Cao Hoang De Mac Dang Dung 5 centuries ago, contributing to arousing the martial spirit and indomitable will of our ancestors, educating the tradition of patriotism and training the health of the young generation.
The competition is part of the competition system of the Vietnam Wrestling Federation, so the organization must ensure scale, science, safety, efficiency and compliance with the law.
Giong Festival at Soc Temple (Hanoi)
Time: From February 3 to February 5, 2025 (6 to 8 of the first lunar month).
Location: Soc Temple, Phu Linh Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi.

The Gióng Festival at Sóc Temple is one of the largest and most important festivals in the religious culture of the people of Sóc Sơn district, Hà Nội city in particular and the whole country in general.
The festival has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, to commemorate and pay tribute to the merits of Saint Giong - the man who defeated the enemy and brought peace to the Vietnamese people.
The festival consists of two main parts: the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony is considered the "soul" of the festival, including the procession of eight traditional offerings and the sacrificial ceremony of the villages. The eight offerings to the Saint include bamboo flower basket, war horse, war elephant, betel and areca, elephant tusk, elephant grass, female general and cau huc.
The festival took place with many activities such as sports competitions including wrestling and volleyball, traditional folk games such as stilt walking, pot smashing, tug of war, balancing bridge walking and rice cooking contest.
Co Loa Festival (Hanoi)
Time: Opening ceremony on February 3, 2025 (January 6 of the lunar calendar).
Location: Thuong Temple, Co Loa Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.

The opening ceremony of the Co Loa Spring Festival of At Ty year 2025 took place with important rituals: Incense offering ceremony of the Eight Communes of Loa Thanh; performing sacrificial rituals; performing the ritual of welcoming the palanquin of King An Duong Vuong and the palanquin of the Lady of the Eight Communes of Loa Thanh including the communes: Co Loa, Van Thuong, Mach Trang, San Gia, Ngoai Sat, Dai Bi, Cau Ca, Thu Cuu.
Previously, on February 2, the Co Loa festival cultural week opened with unique cultural and sports activities, attracting tens of thousands of participants.
Vieng Fair (Nam Dinh)
Time: From February 4 to February 5, 2025 (the 7th and 8th of the first lunar month).
Location: Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province.

Vieng Nam Dinh Market (Vieng Xuan Market) is a special market, a unique market in the country that only meets once a year on the night of the 7th to the morning of the 8th of the first lunar month.

Yen Tu Spring Festival (Quang Ninh)

Location: Yen Tu relic site, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province.

The annual Yen Tu Spring Festival is a reminder for generations of descendants to always remember their roots, to respectfully bow to express gratitude to their ancestors and pray that the Buddha King will continue to bless and protect the country of Vietnam, and at the same time, to appreciate, preserve and promote the precious traditional cultural values that our ancestors left behind, and to vow to make every effort to preserve, continue and promote the good traditions of our ancestors.
In 2025, the Yen Tu Spring Festival Opening Ceremony will be held more specially, recreating an ancient Spring festival imbued with traditional features including palanquin processions, offerings, and spiritual rituals such as: Drum beating, Bell calling, New Year blessing ceremony, Yen Tu sacred seal ceremony..., along with an opening performance with the participation of singer Ho Quynh Huong.
The 2025 palanquin procession is organized on the largest scale ever with 10 palanquin teams from localities in Uong Bi city together with the Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province, promising to bring a solemn, large-scale Spring Festival imbued with Vietnamese traditions.
Lim Festival (Bac Ninh)
Time: From February 9 to February 11, 2025 (January 12 to 14 of the lunar calendar).
Location: Lim Town, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province.

Lim Festival is a big traditional festival of Bac Ninh province, the main festival takes place on February 10 (January 13 of the lunar calendar) every year. The festival is organized very joyfully and beautifully, with bustling processions and long-standing folk games, along with Quan Ho folk singing venues everywhere - an extremely attractive cultural specialty of Kinh Bac land and people.
Although the main festival takes place on the 13th day of the lunar calendar, the Lim festival begins on the evening of the 12th (the day before), with quan ho singing competitions between quan ho villages. Many tourists consider this singing competition night to be the most exciting part of the whole festival.
Ba Chua Kho Temple Festival (Bac Ninh)
Time: From February 9 to February 12, 2025 (January 12 to 15 of the lunar calendar).
Location: Vu Ninh Ward, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province.

Keo Pagoda Festival (Thai Binh)
Time: From February 1 to February 5, 2025 (January 4 to 8 of the lunar calendar).
Location: Duy Nhat Commune, Vu Thu District, Thai Binh Province.

Keo Pagoda is considered an ancient architectural work of art, with the largest scale among pagoda architecture in Vietnam.
In 2017, Keo Pagoda Festival was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, affirming the important cultural and historical values of this Festival.
Tich Dien Festival in Doi Son (Ha Nam)
Time: From February 2 to February 4, 2025 (ie January 5 - 7, At Ty year).
Location: Doi Son Commune, Duy Tien District, Ha Nam Province.

Tich Dien Festival is a cultural beauty of Doi Son villagers in particular and Ha Nam province in general. The festival recreates the tradition of "Di nong vi ban" to encourage agricultural production. Dong Da Mound Festival (Hanoi)

Location: Dong Da Cultural Park, Dong Da district, Hanoi.

Dong Da Mound Festival is held to express gratitude to the heroic Tay Son soldiers. It is one of the large-scale traditional festivals, opening in spring in Hanoi.
Dong Da Mound is located on Tay Son Street, Quang Trung Ward, Dong Da District. In the past, this place belonged to Khuong Thuong Village, Quang Duc District, Thuan Thien Prefecture. The entire Dong Da Mound area was once the battlefield where the lightning-fast battle of King Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue took place.
