Student Singing Festival 'Songs for Uncle Ho'
(Baonghean.vn) - The festival was held with the theme "Songs for Uncle Ho" as a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, towards welcoming the 34th Congress of Vinh University Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.

At Vinh University, in recent years, cultural and artistic activities of students have always received attention with many practical and meaningful activities.
The Student Singing Festival for the 2022-2023 school year is organized to promote propaganda and education on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", love for the homeland, country, school, teachers and friends for the young generation.

Before that, after nearly a month of launching, the Festival received the attention and direction of the leaders of training units, and the participation of a large number of students from the whole school.

After the qualifying round, the Organizing Committee selected 8 art programs from the best quality schools, faculties and training institutes, which are teams from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Center for National Defense and Security Education, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Institute of Environmental Biotechnology, the Institute of Engineering and Industry, the Institute of Agriculture and Resources, the School of Economics and the School of Education.

During the festival night, each unit will prepare a 15-20 minute art program praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, country, school, teachers and friends; expressing the dreams, aspirations, feelings and responsibilities of students towards themselves, their families and the community.
This is truly an opportunity to improve spiritual life, encourage the movement to build a healthy cultural lifestyle among students; create conditions for them to meet, exchange and strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding.

After this festival, the school will select outstanding candidates to participate in the 15th National Student Singing Contest - 2023./.
