Tornado rips off roofs of 129 houses in Con Cuong

Statistics from the People's Committee of Con Cuong district show that after the rain and whirlwind that occurred on the evening of June 13, 129 houses in the district had their roofs blown off or were damaged.

In addition, many areas of fruit trees such as grapefruit, longan, jackfruit, mango... during the harvest season were uprooted, fell down, and lost fruit; 220 forestry trees such as lat hoa, xan dua, 150 hectares of acacia were broken; 5 hectares of corn, 2 hectares of crops were damaged, causing hundreds of millions of dong in damage.

Fortunately, the tornado did not cause any casualties. The storm also knocked down a number of electric poles in the area.
