(Baonghean.vn) - In a letter sent to Vinh City Police, the child's mother wrote: "Fortunately for our family, the police officers helped me and my family to meet and receive our child."

Previously, on the afternoon of June 8, while on duty at Vinh Bus Station, a working group of the Traffic Police Team (Vinh City Police) received a 6-year-old child from a Thach Thanh bus driver running the Tan Ky - Vinh City route.

Through investigation, it was found that the child's name is Cao Ky Duyen, a 1B student at Tan Ky Town Primary School, Tan Ky District. Because she missed her older sister who is currently studying at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, she took the bus to Vinh City.

After receiving the child, the working group gave the child water and snacks, and verified contact with the family. Late in the afternoon of the same day, the child's relatives arrived in Vinh City to take the child home.

In a letter sent to Vinh City Police, Cao Ky Duyen's mother wrote: "At 4:30 p.m. on June 8, 2020, I received a phone call from the bus station police team of the Vinh City Traffic Police Team to inform me that my child was lost. During the time the police kept my child, they took good care of him, encouraged him mentally, and asked about him very carefully...

Due to the family’s negligence, this unwanted incident happened. Fortunately for our family, the police officers helped me and my family to meet and receive our child.”./.
