(Baonghean.vn) - While using the toilet, a crew member on a fishing boat owned by a ship owner residing in Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town fell into the sea in Vung Tau and went missing.
At 9:30 a.m. on June 26, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Nghe An province received a report that fishing boat NA 90075 TS with 1 crew member fell into the sea and went missing.
Accordingly, the ship NA 90075 TS is owned by Mr. Tran Van Hung, born in 1968, permanent residence in Phu Loi 1 block, Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province, with 08 crew members on board.

On the morning of June 26, the vehicle was parked at coordinates 10036'100”N - 107049'200”E, about 17 nautical miles southeast of Binh Chau beach, Vung Tau city. Crew member Tran Van Thong, born in 1994, permanent residence in Phu Loi 1 block, Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town, fell into the sea while going to the toilet and went missing (cause unknown).
Immediately after the crew member went missing, the vessel owner requested assistance in the search. Mr. Pham Hong Thuong - Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Nghe An province said: The unit has sent an official dispatch requesting the National Committee for Incident Response, Natural Disasters and Search and Rescue; Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region I; Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to assist in the search.
