The Do Luong District Police Security Team verified, collected relevant documents and invited Le Anh Thang (born in 1986), residing in Hamlet 1, Giang Son Tay Commune, Do Luong District, to the headquarters to work.

At the district police station, Thang admitted that the Facebook account had the nameLe Thang leanhthangis managed and used by an individual and Thang is the person who directly posted the false content on October 15, 2020 using his personal mobile phone.

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020 of the GovernmentRegulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions, Nghe An Provincial Police issued Decision No. 4476/QD-XPVPHC to administratively fine Le Anh Thang 7.5 million VND for "Providing and sharing false information, slandering and insulting the reputation of agencies and organizations on social networks".
