Icelandic man gets his property back 6 hours after it was stolen
(Baonghean.vn) - After just over 6 hours of investigation, the criminal investigation force of Tan Ky District Police clarified that the subject who caused the theft was a woman and quickly recovered the stolen property and returned it to the foreign man.
At about 9:00 a.m. on July 25, 2018, Tan Ky District Police received a report that Michael Ross (born in 1994, Icelandic nationality) had an Oppo F1s phone worth about 5 million VND stolen while staying at the Volga Hotel (Block 3, Tan Ky Town).

The Criminal Investigation Department of Tan Ky District Police has urgently organized an investigation and verification. Through the investigation process, it was discovered that Mai Thi Nam (born in 1973, residing in Hamlet 7, Nam Son Commune, Do Luong District) was the person who stole the phone.
After receiving approval from the unit's leadership, Tan Ky District Police officers arrested the subject, recovered the phone and returned it to Michael Ross at 3:00 a.m. the same day.
The district police have decided to temporarily detain Mai Thi Nam.
